The atmosphere at Libations Winery was electric as the 5th Annual Scottish Highland Games got underway. Perfect weather set the stage for an incredible turnout, bringing together crowds of families, fans, and Scottish heritage enthusiasts for a full afternoon outdoors.
Down on the field, the athletic competitions drew constant cheers. Both professional and amateur athletes put on a serious display of power and technique, tackling traditional heavy events like the Braemar Stone, the Hammer Toss, and the Caber Toss. Watching competitors flip the caber and hurl heavy weights while enjoying a glass of local wine made for a fantastic spectacle.
Adding to the day’s authentic vibe was a standout performance by the Celtic Circle Pipe Band. The roaring sound of bagpipes and drums echoed across the grounds, bringing dynamic energy and true Highland flair to the event. Between the music, the great food, and the sheer grit on display from the athletes, the day delivered everything you could ask for.
