The 67th Ligonier Highland Games once again brought together the sights, sounds, and traditions of Scotland for a memorable day in Ligonier. Despite the threat of storms and lingering wildfire smoke, the event turned out to be a great celebration of Scottish heritage. While the weather may have kept some people at home, those who attended enjoyed an outstanding event filled with incredible athletes, talented musicians and performers, unique vendors, and the unmistakable spirit of the Highland Games.
A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped make the event happen—from the organizers and volunteers to the competitors, entertainers, vendors, and the many attendees who came out to support this long-standing tradition. Challenges aside, the 67th Ligonier Highland Games proved once again why it’s one of Pennsylvania’s premier summer events.
